In less than a decade Anna Calvi has received two Mercury Prize nominations, praise from the highest quarters and established herself as an artist fearless of examining identity and passion. Hailed as “the best thing since Patti Smith” by Brian Eno, British born Anna Calvi released her self-titled album on Domino Records in January 2011.
Second album One Breath was released through Domino Records in October 2013, which resulted in a second Mercury Music Prize nomination in 2014. Third album Hunter was released in August 2018 to critical acclaim. The three Anna Calvi albums to date are dark-inked essays in turbulence and drama.
