Wild Fruit Art Collective is a Liverpool-based group of perpetually anxious artists searching for the answer to an ever-changing question. Their thoughtful, lyrical music is a bleak blend of post-punk and grunge for those who once had a love for popular indie (Modest Mouse, The National, even Arctic Monkeys). Tender moments in their live show often give way to untethered anger, before winding back down to visceral vulnerability.
With 4 core members, sometimes expanding to a group of up to 8, the band has spent 2 years touring the UK. Closer to home, The Quietus made the band’s second release Fabric one of their top 50 tracks of 2018. Recently, the group were selected for the Merseyrail Soundstation programme, a panel of industry professionals deemed them among the 12 most promising musical acts on Merseyside, further solidified by the Wirral Globe ranking them as “The Future of Merseyside Music”.
