The seven-piece gnarly rock outfit make their second stop in Birkenhead, following on from their storming appearance at Future Yard festival in 2019. Since then their rise has been incredible, with praise coming in across the spectrum for the blend of post-punk, free jazz and klezmer. “Black Country, New Road might be the perfect band,” said the Quietus, a publication who stuck their neck out in 2019 by calling them “the best (band) in the entire world”. For the first time was released on 5th February 2021 on Ninja Tune, with full marks reviews in NME and Loud And Quiet. We’re delighted to be working with Harvest Sun Promotions in bringing the group to Future Yard in June for these two shows, as part of a summer tour of socially-distanced events, before a full tour in the autumn.
