Paint Me In Colour
Paint Me In Colour are a Liverpool-based four-piece, whose sound has evolved from classic indie numbers to incorporating “spangly guitars, nostalgic hooks, and distorted grooves” in their latest releases. Their 2019 debut single ‘Feel It’ was packed with soulful vocals and summer vibes, and boasts being backed by BBC Introducing, Popped Music and Gigwise. Latest track, ‘Better Than This’, however, is reminiscent of alternative artists like Kid Kapichi and Fickle Friends, who the band count as recent influences on their sound, as well as indie icons, Nothing But Thieves.
Sophie Li is a 19 year old, upcoming indie artist from Liverpool. Her musical journey started out on piano and progressed to other instruments such as bass, guitar, drums and vocals. She spent most of her teenage years in bands, playing at venues like The Cavern Club and The Zanzibar, now deciding to hone in on her solo career. With influences ranging from Catfish and the Bottlemen to John Mayer, she is currently working on her debut album, featuring her new single ‘Wish You Knew’, written after her first breakup.
Sophie is most passionate about spreading awareness for mental illnesses and always writes about her own personal experiences, allowing her songs to showcase what goes on inside her mind.
