FRÄULEIN | Future Yard

PROPELLER DAY AFTERPARTY

We are thrilled to be welcoming Fräulein to our stage on Saturday 1st April, in a headline show capping off our latest Propeller Day. Fräulein are a Northern Irish / Dutch duo currently based out of SW London with a debut EP – ‘A Small Taste’ – that heard the duo throw down the gauntlet and solidify their early sound; cathartic 90’s flavoured alt rock influenced by the likes of The Breeders, PJ Harvey and Big Thief, whilst incorporating cavernous grooves and sharply observational lyrics. Their brand new single, ‘Pet’ (released via Submarine Cat Recs) is a track born from a monstrous riff that will melt your face off, with the lyrics tightly wound around the feeling of trying to stand up tall but failing because you crave people’s approval. Experience it live with us this spring.

CRIMSON and Husband Material support.

Tickets on sale now.

Early singles such as ‘Pretty People’, ‘Belly’ and ‘By The Water’ were championed by the likes of Spotify, CLASH, DIY, The Line Of Best Fit, KEXP, BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 6. 2022 took Fräulein on a sold-out UK + IE tour with The Mysterines, a sold-out headline show at Shacklewell Arms in London, as well as regional support slots with the likes of English Teacher, Deep Tan and TV Priest. They also made appearances at festivals like The Great Escape, DIY Alive, Are You Listening?, Dark Arts and Mutations. They are now a duo truly primed to take 2023 by storm.
