GLORIFIED Social: Crochet Workshop | Future Yard

Do you want to learn how to crochet a granny square?

Even though granny squares look complicated, they are actually quite easy to learn and quick to make. You can use granny stitch and/or granny squares to make all sorts of crochet items, such as blankets, cardigans, bags, slippers, jumpers, hats, dresses and so much more. The possibilities are endless.

In this session we will be learning some crochet basics (how to hold your hook and yarn, chain stitches, granny stitch, and sewing in ends) as well as how make a basic granny square and how to develop your square/s into bigger projects.

Materials will be provided for you to borrow during the session with the option to buy crocheting equipment and yarn to take home with you if you want to carry on your granny square project at home.

This Glorified Social will be held in the Yellow Room at Future Yard which is fully accessible. Food and drinks will be available to purchase after and during the event (although we recommend food afterwards because no one wants pizza on their new masterpiece!)

Tickets available now.
