SHIPWRECKER

We are thrilled to be hosting Shipwrecker at Future Yard, as they make the long trip up from our basement rehearsal studios to our live room on Friday 4th August. A four-piece alternative/classic rock band who started life as an occasional side project while spread over different cities, Shipwrecker have since returned to their roots on the Wirral, and perfected their blend of late 90s alt-rock and huge classic rock vocals.

With two sold out Liverpool shows under their belts, and a series of carefully honed foot-stomping singles released, Shipwrecker are emerging as one of the hottest rock bands to come out of the region in recent years. The 4 piece have completed work on their ambitious début album “Different Beast”, a record written in our very own basement studios in 2022, and recorded in Liverpool with producer Tom Peters (of Alpha Male Tea Party fame). Due to be released on Friday the 4th August, the album will be available on limited run vinyl, which is available to purchase on the night.

“Imagine that Chris Cornell had joined up with the Foo Fighters instead of Rage Against the Machine. Instead of Audioslave you’d get Shipwrecker.”
