Free Rail Travel With Merseyrail

We’re delighted to be teaming up with Merseyrail once again to offer free rail travel to selected Future Yard shows during April. After running a successful pilot in October this year, we’re happy to be offering free return tickets to Birkenhead stations around four shows in April. These shows are:

Izo Fitzroy – 3rd April // Boston Manor – 10th April
Huey Morgan’s NYC Block Party – 19th April // MELTS – 24th April

Tickets are return tickets between designated stations on the Merseyrail network. You can choose to travel from any Merseyrail train station to one of the three stations that serve Future Yard: Hamilton Square, Conway Park or Birkenhead Central. Tickets are valid on the day of the show only, and must be claimed via this linked form by 12pm the day before the show. Tickets will be emailed to you.

April is designated as Sustainable Travel Month at Future Yard, where we are encouraging our audience to use public transport or bicycle to travel to events and shows here. As part of our ongoing effort to become a carbon neutral venue, we’re aware that the biggest contributor to our carbon footprint is the travel by customers, staff and suppliers in getting to and from the venue. As Future Yard is ideally situated between three train stations and a major bus station, we think we can help to massively reduce this carbon footprint by encouraging more sustainable travel methods.

As well as this brilliant offer for free rail travel with Merseyrail, we have also teamed up with Arriva to offer discounted bus travel for Future Yard customers during the whole of April. We are also hosting a group bike ride (date TBC), to highlight how simple, fun and healthy it is to cycle to and from Future Yard. And don’t forget, people who cycle to Future Yard receive 10% off food and drink!
