Tara Clerkin Trio | Future Yard | Future Yard

Using looped and layered clarinet, vocals, samples, keys & percussion, Tara Clerkin Trio are set to spin you into space at Future Yard on Tuesday 28th May.

The trio are Pat Benjamin, Sunny Joe Paradisos and Tara Clerkin, three musicians involved in a number of cult Bristol bands over the years before confidently settling down in triangle formation. They are inspired by and borrow from jazz, trip hop, electronica, psychedelia & minimalism, twirling the non-pretensious strands of these threads together into a trippy green winged-cloak, adorning Arthur Russell and dripping in blue jam.

Robbie & Mona and News from Neptune support, with a DJ set from the retuning Anti-Social Jazz Club to kick off the evening.

Tickets on sale now.

NEWS FROM NEPTUNE

TARA CLERKIN TRIO

News from Neptune are a Merseyside duo featuring David Miller and Craig Sinclair, both of whom also play together in Lovecraft. They have been working as a two-piece since 2019 and their upcoming EP is an adventurous but highly melodic blend of avant-pop, nightmare exotica and neo-psychedelia.
