Future Yard + Hardy’s present BANQUET: a new series of events combining adventurous tastes and delicious sounds; an experience for the senses.

Music and food are the perfect pairing. They stir the emotions, remind us of life’s moments and provide the reference for the experiences that shape us. Future Yard is all about music, but food is central to our story too. Our veggie + vegan street food kitchen has been with us from the start. Great food should be a staple of music venues and BANQUET is our latest move to shake up the way music + food is combined.

Each BANQUET will feature a lovingly crafted, five-course vegan tasting menu, combining the finest seasonal local produce with innovative flavours and imaginative twists – all conceived by our Head Chef, Matt Hardy of Hardy’s Catering. All food served at BANQUET is vegan. Future Yard is meat free, allowing us to reduce our environmental impact. The carbon footprint of a veggie diet is around half that of a meat-lover. It’s a small change we can make that results in a large impact.

Live performances from Future Yard’s favourite emerging artists will accompany the dishes. Each show will combine a range of genres, adding a mix of flavours to the experience.

Live music and dining experience at Future Yard

The second event in the BANQUET series is on Thursday 2nd June 2022, following on from a special launch event in February for Valentine’s Day. As an accompaniment to the five perfectly balanced courses are two fabulous live performances: Slye‘s infectious funk grooves are made for moving, and this set will lean more on the sultry edge of their funk spiritualism; and the ascendant lo-fi pop of Poppy Shrimpton brings the gentle sway to ease us in, shimmying around the edges of early Phoebe Bridgers and Angel Olsen

The Future Yard live room will be reimagined as a banquet hall, with full table service throughout the evening. Live performances will accompany the dishes, with suggested wine and beer pairings available for each course.

Tickets for BANQUET are priced £35 per head, which includes the five-course menu and live music. A £10 deposit is required per person to secure your table for the evening. Very limited tables are available NOW. Please include all members of your party on a single booking, so we can ensure you are sat together.
