Future Yard + present BANQUET: a new series of events combining adventurous tastes and delicious sounds; an experience for the senses.
Music and food are the perfect pairing. They stir the emotions, remind us of life’s moments and provide the reference for the experiences that shape us. Future Yard is all about music, but food is central to our story too. Our veggie + vegan street food kitchen has been with us from the start. Great food should be a staple of music venues and BANQUET is our latest move to shake up the way music + food is combined.
Each BANQUET features a lovingly crafted, three-course vegan menu, combining the finest seasonal local produce with innovative flavours and imaginative twists. All food served at BANQUET is vegan. Future Yard is meat free, allowing us to reduce our environmental impact. The carbon footprint of a veggie diet is around half that of a meat-lover. It’s a small change we can make that results in a large impact.
Live performances from Future Yard’s favourite artists will accompany the dishes, with a specific artist performing at each event to add a mix of flavours to the experience.
The second event in the BANQUET series is on Tuesday 14th February 2023. This Valentine’s Special follows on from a special launch event last February for Valentine’s Day. As an accompaniment to the three sumptuous courses is an acoustic live performance from Trudy And The Romance. Trudy’s ‘mutant 50s pop’ is a 21st century blending of doo-wop and rock’n’roll, and their stripped back two-piece performance will be the perfect way to croon through a romantic evening.
The Future Yard live room will be reimagined as a banquet hall, with full table service throughout the evening. Live performances will accompany the dishes, with suggested wine and beer pairings available for each course.
Tickets for BANQUET are priced at £25 per head, which includes the three-course menu and live music. Very limited tables are available NOW. Please include all members of your party on a single booking, so we can ensure you are sat together.
A selection of toasted Bruschetta with sweet, sun-dried tomato and olive tapenade. Locally-sourced mushroom scallops paired with tangy garlic confit and carrot lox with vegan cream cheese.
A hearty Orzo bowl filled with fresh rocket, apple, lightly-seared tenderstem broccoli, toasted pine nuts, vegan parmesan and crispy polenta. All matched with a delicious chilli dip.
Straight from the fryer Zeppole dusted with delicate confectioner’s sugar, drizzled in ginger and apple sauce.
