THE ROLE

We are looking for a member of  staff to join our Kitchen Team and lead on delivering our food and drink operation across our programme of live music, special events and during regular opening hours.

As a member of the Kitchen Team you will deliver all aspects of Future Yard’s kitchen offer – including occasional direct customer service responsibilities. You will be knowledgeable and interested to learn about our products, sharing this knowledge with staff and customers.

You will receive full training on our specific menu, and in any other areas deemed necessary. You will require a knowledge of basic food hygiene, and you will be warm, friendly and engaging with customers.

You will carry out your activities in a busy, high energy, fast-paced and fun environment.

You will also process deliveries, perform deep cleaning tasks and stock takes when required, all under supervision of the Venue Manager.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

We are looking for an individual with a passion for delivering high quality food and service to customers, and a commitment to maintaining a compliant and safe working environment.

Every person who enters Future Yard should be treated with respect and kindness. Customers should be served as quickly as possible and have the best possible customer service experience.

As a member of the Future Yard family you will benefit from a range of bonuses, including: free entry to selected Future Yard shows, training and social events, our cycle to work scheme, paid training, ongoing development opportunities and a range of staff discounts.

Future Yard is a non-profit, Community Interest Company. We have been established to utilise the power of music to bring about meaningful change in Birkenhead, running a range of training, artist development and community programmes alongside our brilliant live music schedule.
