Birkenhead Calling

Events471 present a night of raw, homegrown punk and indie noise, celebrating local punks new music and raising funds to keep the grassroots scene alive and kicking. The event will have four bands and a poet on one shared mission: to keep Birkenhead moving forward!

This isn’t just another gig – it’s a rally for the Wirral underground.

DECIBEL – Liverpool post-punk power trio with five albums of sharp, driving energy.

Grenades – Alt-rock rebels who live by the punk ethos: no rules, no limits, all heart.

The Ice Cream Robots – Post-punk meets old-school New Wave with a dash of ska. Album launch night for Jeff Olla Ollerhead’s unstoppable Moreton crew.

Sonic Assault – Melodic power punk, real-life lyrics, wild frontman, 100% energy.

Live Punk Poetry – Words that hit as hard as the riffs from The Birkenhead Poet.
