Your monthly instalment featuring 4 of our next favourite artists from the local scene and beyond is back on Friday 26th July, this time featuring Tom Collins, Miles Temp, Amelia + Lucy Starr.

At just 17, Miles Temp IS an emerging musician, breaking into the music scene. His journey began amidst the third national Covid-19 lockdown, where he first grasped an acoustic guitar. Garnering attention as a rising star, he’s been turning heads with his performances at various music events and Sound City showcases. Supporting slots at venues like Round the Corner, Prohibition Studios, and now at Future Yard, have further solidified his presence.

Miles’s singles have received debut plays on BBC Introducing and Radio Merseyside, thanks to Dave Monks, alongside airtime on various community shows and Liverpool Live Billy Butler.

Recently, he was handpicked as one of the 15 promising artists for Liverpool’s Sound City artist development course, marking a significant step in his journey. His debut festival performance at Liverpool’s Sound City festival was a lock out, drawing a packed crowd on Saturday at 1:30 pm.

Without a doubt, Miles Temp is one to keep a keen eye on in the music scene as he develops his sound through his voice, acoustic and layers of SPD 1 sample pad.
