AMELIA COBURN

YAWN AGAIN
"Folk-derived, framed by tradition but totally distinct" -  Clash Magazine

From being selected as a BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards Finalist in 2017 to the recent release of her acclaimed debut album ‘Between The Moon And the Milkman’ produced by Bill Ryder-Jones, Amelia Coburn stands as a truly unique voice in the world of music.

A fearless experimenter with the songwriting form, pairing daring melodies with unusual chord movements, Amelia takes traditional folk and jazz elements that hark back to the golden-age of songwriting as well as influences from the more baroque side of pop and rock (Kate Bush, Scott Walker, Neil Hannon) and drags them kicking and screaming into the 21st century. With recent national airplay from BBC Radio 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6Music, as well as support from BBC Scotland and Ireland’s BBC Ulster and RTÉ1, Coburn can count the likes of pundits Mark Radcliffe and Tom Robinson as fans, as well as musicians David Gedge (The Wedding Present) and Paul Heaton (The Beautiful South).

HOLY GLOAM

YAWN AGAIN

Holy Gloam are a 5-piece alt rock/shoegaze band from North Wales. Formed by songwriter Julian Neale at the tail end of 2021, the band played a number of live shows around the North West in the first half of 2022 followed by the release of debut album ‘Small Nothings’. Two singles have been released since then and a Double A side recorded at Yawn is due out later this year on 7” via Shipwrecked Records.

... with songs that started out sounding like The Stone Roses drifting into Dinosaur Jnr/psych grunge territory. The singer, with his deep baritone, slightly frail vocal underpinned a dense and intricate soundscape that you could lose yourself in - Louder than War

PET SNAKE

YAWN AGAIN

Pet Snake is the solo project of Evelyn Halls (Clean Cut Kid, Bill Ryder Jones). After spending the last decade playing and writing for others, Evelyn has taken strides to carve out her own path, mixing sounds of indie folk, grungy pop and early 00’s emo; Pet Snake brings you into her sadly beautiful world whilst delivering with a voice that can silence even the rowdiest of rooms.

LOUIE MILES

YAWN AGAIN
24 year old Louie Miles is a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer who seeks the “freedom, challenge and thrill to be found in the process of creating songs”.

Growing up in the West Midlands and now based in Liverpool, Louie also exercises his love for playing music performing in Liverpool’s Astles, as well as Bill Ryder- Jones, Strawberry Guy and Beija Flo’s band, and the Birmingham based band, SUGARTHIEF.
