DJ Yoda is a world-class turntablist, producer and pioneering audiovisual artist, widely regarded as one of the most innovative DJs of his generation. Active for over three decades, he has toured the globe, shared stages with artists from Snoop Dogg to Damon Albarn, and been hailed by Q Magazine as “one of the 10 DJs to see before you die.”
Renowned for his virtuosic scratching and playful re-imagining of pop culture, Yoda has pushed hip-hop’s creative boundaries through his iconic How To Cut & Paste mixtapes and groundbreaking live shows that remix film, TV, internet culture and gaming in real time. A relentless innovator, he has performed everywhere from Glastonbury to the British Library, composed a turntable concerto with Gabriel Prokofiev, and helped pioneer live video mixing as an art form.
DJ Yoda brings his 90s mixtape to the Live Room, an audio-visual love letter to the era that shaped modern music, film and pop-culture. The result is an evening packed with nostalgia, an immersive experience filled with bold visuals and 90s anthems.

Made hot and fresh in-house each day, our pizzas use the best ingredients sourced from independent suppliers in Merseyside and beyond. The result is a classic Italian pizza handcrafted in Birkenhead, with a tasty new twist.

- Kitchen open 3pm-9pm for this event. Usual opening hours are 5-9pm on Fridays + Saturdays, plus all show days

VENUE INFO
Future Yard is open every day from 10am – so you can stop by for a coffee or a pre-show drink in our bar area whenever you like. Our pizza kitchen is open on weekends and before every gig, 5-9pm.
The live room doors open at 7:30pm (this is separate from our bar area), and music starts shortly after. The bar is open after the show.
