Future Yard is excited to welcome Whelligan for the launch of their second album In Pursuit of Inchoate Visions of Beauty. The album is full of memories and characters associated with being an unemployed musician growing up in Birkenhead. Jobcentre chat, glorious wasted hours by the waterside. The could’ve-beens, the might’ve-beens, the has-beens, the never-weres. The dreams, the reality, the hopelessness, the humour and the tenderness which was shared by so many in a town that was slowly but surely being forgotten.

Made hot and fresh in-house each day, our pizzas use the best ingredients sourced from independent suppliers in Merseyside and beyond. The result is a classic Italian pizza handcrafted in Birkenhead, with a tasty new twist.
- All our pizzas are vegetarian and vegan friendly, available by the slice or a full 16″ pizza
- Kitchen open 3pm-9pm for this event. Usual opening hours are 5-9pm on Fridays + Saturdays, plus all show days

VENUE INFO
Future Yard is open every day from 10am – so you can stop by for a coffee or a pre-show drink in our bar area whenever you like. Our pizza kitchen is open on weekends and before every gig, 5-9pm.
The live room doors open at 6:00pm (this is separate from our bar area), and music starts shortly after. The bar is open after the show.

Future Yard is a cashless venue – all payments are taken by contactless or chip and pin. Live curfew 11pm.
