Merseyside Social Dance CIC presents Social Dance Lab: Latin Roots — a new beginner-friendly social dance night at Future Yard.

Taking place on Friday 17 July, this first event is all about creating a welcoming, low-pressure space to try partner dancing, meet new people and enjoy a social night of music and movement in Birkenhead. The evening will combine relaxed beginner-friendly classes with social dancing afterwards, making it open both to complete newcomers and to dancers who simply want a friendly night out.

Inspired by Latin social dance and related partner dance styles, Social Dance Lab is focused on connection, confidence and participation rather than performance, with the longer-term aim of building a welcoming and community-minded social dance space in Merseyside.

Made hot and fresh in-house each day, our pizzas use the best ingredients sourced from independent suppliers in Merseyside and beyond. The result is a classic Italian pizza handcrafted in Birkenhead, with a tasty new twist.

  • All our pizzas are vegetarian and vegan friendly, available by the slice or a full 16″ pizza
  • Kitchen open 3pm-9pm for this event. Usual opening hours are 5-9pm on Fridays + Saturdays, plus all show days

VENUE INFO

Future Yard is open every day from 10am – so you can stop by for a coffee or a pre-show drink in our bar area whenever you like. Our pizza kitchen is open on weekends and before every gig, 5-9pm.

The live room doors open at 7:00pm (this is separate from our bar area), and music starts shortly after. The bar is open after the show.
