QUIZ

Any self respecting music venue should have a music quiz, right? Right. Correct answer.

Our own Future Yard Music Quiz takes place on the second Monday of the month, kicking off at 7pm. After a couple of successful pilots at the end of 2021 – including the annual Bido Lito! x Liquidation Christmas quiz, which raised close to £500 for charity – our quiz night is now a popular fixture in the calendar, giving you a chance to show off your nerdy music knowledge on a monthly basis. We invite you to come and pit your wits against fellow music lovers and win not only great kudos but some great prizes, too. A £40 bar tab, Future Yard merch and tickets to upcoming shows are all up for grabs – but it’s mainly the bragging rights you want, isn’t it?

Upcoming dates
12th September
10th October
14th November – cancelled due to illness
12th December

The quiz will be a mixture of pop trivia, music and pictures, some obscure and most not. You don’t need to have an encyclopaedic knowledge of All Saints’ back catalogue to take part, but it might help. We’ll be starting the quiz at 7pm and wrapping it up by 10pm, so that the winners can enjoy an (open) top (deck) bus parade on the way home with their trophy.

There will be a revolving cast of hosts to keep things fresh, so you can expect a slightly different slant on questions each time. We’ll also be inviting some special guests down to host one-off special quizzes, so keep your eyes peeled for news of those. The quiz will be taking place in the front bar area, so if there’s a show on in the Live Room then the quiz will still be taking place – unless it’s a particularly busy live show, which will take precedence. But we’ll keep this page and our social media accounts updated with that info as regularly as possible.

Entry is £2 per person, which will be taken on the night. Teams are a maximum of 8 people (no internet cheats allowed). You can reserve tables of 4+ in advance by emailing us on quiz@futureyard.org.
